Que Sera Farm is
located deep in
the beautiful
Biddaddaba
Valley with
frontage to
Biddaddaba
Creek. It
comprises 292
acres of prime
farm land. There
is a combination
of creek flats,
rolling slopes,
plateau rich
soils and
pasture. A
mountain range
frames the
property. Que
Sera is a
working farm
with cattle and
arable crops and
Warmblood Horse
Breeding.

Que Sera Farm is
run by Farm
Manager, Tor Van
Den Berge, who
has solid
farming and
cattle
management
background and
horsemanship,
including
dressage
training in
Germany. Tor has
a very rare
understanding of
and relationship
with horses
which few could
surpass. Tor
competes at the
high end of
Dressage
Championships
and often rides
for clients
whose horses are
agisted with us
and trained by
him.
Melissa Van Den
Berge, Tor’s
wife, is an
Event Rider of
some note and is
a qualified EFA
Coach. She is
much sought
after for riding
lessons by many
local clubs and
individuals. She
competes
regularly on her
horses in both
Eventing and
Dressage. Please
look at
Staff Profiles
for further
details.

Please look at
our
Location Map
page to see the
exact farm
location.
Situated 10.5 km
from the
Nerang\Beaudesert
Road few
vehicles venture
past the
property and it
is a beautiful
and peaceful
place to be.

Since April
2007, when the
farm was
purchased by Kay
and Sarah
Sutherland,
there has been a
hive of activity
orchestrated by
Tor Van Den
Berge. Todd
Cunningham of
Equestrian Land
Development Pty
put in our arena
and round yard.
Both are fenced
in steel and
have gates, and
the round yard
has a rubber
skirt to ensure
that horses do
not hurt
themselves while
being lunged or
broken in. We
plan to put in a
second arena in
2010 and
hopefully can
get our original
arena covered to
enable us to
train horses
whatever the
weather.
Our paddocks are
fenced with
steel and each
has a solar
powered electric
cable on top
(keeping horses
safe in the
event that a
power cut
occurs). We have
a total of nine
high quality
stable stalls
with automatic
water. There are
three segregated
stallion stalls.
Four stables
with walk in
paddocks were
completed in
2009. Four
further stables
are planned for
2010.
A large dam has
been built. This
gives us an
independent
water supply. A
smaller dam has
also been
constructed
where horses can
swim and
strengthen their
legs or be
utilized as an
aid to recovery.
Our aim is to
provide a
boutique
operation to
provide a
comprehensive
service to
clients with
Dressage or
Event horses or
for the young
horse yet to be
broken in to
establish
correct
movements and
rideability. We
also breed and
source good
quality
warmblood
horses. Please
see
Services and
Facilities
for further
details.

Overnight
accommodation
can be provided
by arrangement
and we also have
a
Shop
selling unique
equestrian items
sourced by Que
Sera. This will
be greatly
expanded in
2010.
